AsiaPay has obtained a license from the Central Bank of Iraq (CBI) after fully complying with all CBI requirements, including Iraq Electronic Payment Service No (3) of 2014, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and Counter Terrorist Finance (CTF) no 39 of 2015.

To cater to the needs of every individual, AsiaPay offers three distinct types of wallets:

Lite Wallet:

A fast and short-term wallet with a threshold of 2,000,000 IQD for three months, either per day or for the activation period of 90 days. Lite wallet holders must transfer their balance to a Standard wallet after three months to avoid suspension.

Standard Wallet:

Obtained by visiting one of the AsiaPay agents throughout Iraq and completing registration procedures (Know Your Customer). The Standard wallet has a daily threshold of 2,000,000 IQD and a monthly threshold of 10,000,000 IQD. This wallet remains active indefinitely, subject to AsiaPay's terms and conditions.

Premium Wallet:

This type of wallet is specifically designed for employers, merchants, main dealers, high earners, and VIPs. The threshold for a Premium Wallet is determined on a case-by-case basis in accordance with instructions from the Central Bank of Iraq. This wallet can only be obtained by visiting AsiaPay's main dealers.
